Hip-Hop, Ballet, K-Pop Heels & Pre Instructor
A graduate of Orange County School of the Arts, she started her performance career as a Classical Voice major then participated in Commercial Dance her senior year. She has over 13 years of training in Hip-Hop, Ballet, and Jazz and has taught for over 6 years. Her passion and drive for dance earned her a full scholarship at University of California Irvine’s Summer Academies in the Arts in 2014. She has choreographed extensively for television, music videos, festivals, fundraisers, schools, and competitions. Her choreography has been featured on Little Saigon Television Network from 2016-2020 and Asian World Media Network from 2017-2020. Her awards include 1st place, Best Theme, and Best Costume at World of Dance Las Vegas in 2014, 1st place at Nor-Cal Collaboration 2015, 2nd place Urban Street Jam Trio division 2016, 2nd place Maxt-Out 2014, 2nd place San Diego Best Dance Crew 2015, and more. She is currently a dancer for the European Ensemble, Hall Method and is a teacher assistant to Marlene Hall for the Ballet Elective at Orange County School of the Arts. Dorothy is currently attending Chapman University earning her BA in Philosophy, and leading Charade Dance Academy’s dance faculty.
Jazz & Ballet Instructor
A native of Orange County, California Sophia began her passion for dance at the early age of 3. Since then, she has performed extensively in loose cannons and served as a dancer and assistant for an acclaimed choreographer Andy vaca. In high school, Sophia has proven her love of dance and performance when she was admitted into mater dei’s prestigious song leading team. After she graduated high school, she auditioned and was accepted to become a dance staff member for a highly innovative dance competition, U.S. Spiritleaders. In College, Sophia was a member of the Cal State Long Beach Dance Team for 2 years; during her time on the team, she participated in the prestigious College Nationals in Orlando, Florida. She has since graduated from Cal State LongBeach and received her BA in dance.
