About the Course
Jazz dance is a vibrant and energetic form of dance that blends elements of African American cultural movements, classical ballet, and contemporary dance styles. Characterized by its rhythmic and expressive qualities, jazz dance often features syncopated beats, improvisation, and dynamic body movements.
Dancers use sharp, isolated movements and fluid transitions, incorporating kicks, leaps, and turns. The style is known for its emphasis on personality and expression, allowing dancers to showcase their individuality.

Dress code:
Hair: Bun, secured with bobby pins.
Attire: Charade Dance Academy black unitard, tan/stirrup tights, jazz/contemporary shoes.
No jewelry or watches allowed, except small post earrings.
