CHARADE DANCE ACADEMY HISTORY

Growing up in Garden Grove, I often found myself frustrated by the lack of a local dance studio that could provide the comprehensive training I desired. I had to commute long distances to places like Long Beach and West Covina, attending multiple schools to learn different styles. My dream was to create a studio that offered a variety of dance styles while specializing in each discipline. With a team of dedicated professionals teaching Hip-Hop, Acro, Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, and more, I envisioned Charade as a one-stop shop for aspiring pre-professional dancers to receive the training they need.

 

I yearned to create my own vision and build a space where I didn’t have to answer to anyone but myself. I wanted to mold Charade with my own hands, fostering a community of passionate dancers and supportive families that could bring this dream to life. Having worked with many inspiring leaders in the past, I felt ready to step into a leadership role myself. I wanted to establish a dance studio in Garden Grove for individuals like me—those who shouldn’t have to travel far to pursue their passion for dance.
